2023 Coney Island Mermaid Parade Survival Guide

What: This is the 41st Annual “The Mermaid Parade” presented by Coney Island USA.
Parade Route – Starting line at West 21st and Surf Avenue. Travels east to West 10th Street where marchers proceed onto the boardwalk. The Parade continues to Steeplechase Plaza, beneath the Parachute Jump, where marchers will disband. (Map)
When: This year’s parade is being held on June 17th.
Where: Participants assemble at Surf Avenue and West 21st Street in Coney Island at 10am. The actual parade kicks off at 1pm. Participants can register on the day of the parade, 6/17 from 10am-1pm. Fees range from $35 (individuals) to $200 (motorized floats) – Cash Only. (See all of the rates here)

The Judges Review Stand will be located at Surf Avenue and West 19th Street, across from Maimonides Park. Same for judges’ check-in. (For information on becoming a judge, click here)
After Party
The Mermaid Parade Ball will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 5pm to 10pm at Coney Island Brewery at 1904 Surf Avenue, Brooklyn, NY
