8282 Teams Up With Bahn by Lauren for Special Pop-Up

The owners of 8282 and Banh by Lauren will join forces in a pop-up event showcasing 8282’s savory courses and Lauren’s desserts.

8282 focuses on playful, yet elevated modern Korean cuisine designed to be shared by Chef Bong Le Jo (Perry Street, Dovetail, and Kissaki) and his partner Jee Kim, who previously owned Pado. Lauren Tran is the former pastry chef of Gramercy Tavern specializes in Vietnamese bánh desserts.
The curated menu consists of:
ANJU by Chef Jo
Tuna tartare with kim bukak, smoked egg yolk and salmon roe
Perilla Oil Pasta with uni & crab
BANJU by Chef Jo
Shellfish Jjajang Boribap
Chilean Seabass with glazed sweet soy sauce
DESSERTS by Lauren Tran
Slice of pandan coconut chiffon cake
Vanilla & red bean French macaron
The event will take place July 20 at 8282 and tickets are available through Resy in pairs for $160 with two seatings planned for 6pm and 8pm.
