A Celebration of this Year's Wine Harvest at Comodo and Colonia Verde

To celebrate the wine harvest season Colonia Verde in Fort Greene and Comodo in Flatiron, are teaming up for some special events.

Throughout the month of November, winemakers from across the globe will join both restaurants in celebration of the harvest to host a variety of events including:

Sunday, November 6th: To celebrate the launch of Kalchē Wine Co, the team at Comodo is hosting the co-founder of the brand, Justine Belle Lambright, to share more about their work in domestic wines with a tasting of their newest cider and bites to pair starting at 5 pm. Tickets available on Resy.

Wednesday, November 9th: At Comodo, the team is partnering with Xurxo Alba, the winemaker behind Albamar Wines for a family-style dinner starting at 7pm where a variety of their wines will be showcased. Tickets available on Resy.

Sunday, November 13th: Starting at 8pm, the team at Colonia Verde is hosting a party following their popular Sunday Asados series hosted by Chef Martin Planchaud, where wine markers behind Chilean labels like Cacique Maravailla, Vinos Gustavo Martinez, Villalobos, and Estacion Yumbel will engage in conversation and celebration.

Thursday, November 17th: From 6-8pm, the team at Colonia Verde is hosting Leo Erazo, the winemaker behind Vinateros Bravos in Itata Chile, with special bottles poured by the glass, including the brand’s Granitico Cinsault.
