Feliz Coctelería (349 Broome St), The Garret Group’s festive pop-up bar, is bringing some holiday cheer with merry + bright cocktails. Beverage director and partner Max Stampa-Brown’s creations are unexpected but nostalgic, and reflect his imaginative and eye-catching style with warming flavors, eye-catching glassware and fun garnishes.
Hot Cocoa Cocktails are the undersung hot drink of the season. This version is infused with vodka, white chocolate, matcha and aleppo pepper, enough to give Santa a kick.
Other highlights include the plum-forward ‘Little Plummer Boy’ (with brown butter washed rum, savory herbs and sherry-cooked plums) presented smoked; and Hot Toddy 101 with bourbon, guajillo and epazote along with familiar flavors of ginger, apple cider and star anise.
