Say hello to King’s Café, a vibrant American cocktail bar debuting on the Lower East Side, from the team behind Ainsworth and Court Street Tavern. The new space, with a gastropub feel, is serving elevated plates and cocktails in an intimate setting where guests can chat or meet up for a date.

There are dishes to share like Roasted Cauliflower with house buffalo sauce, Veggy Nachos with green godesss sauce and pico de gallo, and Grilled Cheese with American & cheddar with caramelized onions served on sourdough bread with a hot honey drizzle.

Entrees include King’s Smashburger with double patty, Steak Frites and house fries, Sesame Tuna with wild rice and citrus glaze, and Frenched Chicken with garlic mashed potatoes and thyme gravy. For dessert, there’s Chocolate Cake and Cookie Skillet, among others.

Bruch features some Southern-inspired plates such as Buttermilk Biscuits, Bacon Clothesline with strips of candied bacon and Pancake Flights to build your own toppings.

Visitors are encouraged to sit back and enjoy one of several craft cocktails like the King Me made with tequila, jalapeno-infused triple sec, lime, agave and tajin rim, or the Midnight Kiss with gin, blue caracao, prosecco, crème de violette and lemon. There are a dozen signature drinks in all to choose from along with bubbles, wine and beer.

King’s Café is located at 79 Clinton St, New York, NY
