White Alba truffles are now in season, originating in Piemonte, Italy. The aromatic delicacies are especially scarce this year, due to drought. But for luxury aficionados and truffle lovers, there is good news.

An incredibly limited supply of quality, superbly aromatic Tartufo Bianco d’Alba––also known as white gold––has made its way stateside, appearing on menus across Manhattan at restaurants such as Eleven Madison Park, Per Se, and Babbo.

In keeping with their long-standing tradition of hosting an annual dinner celebrating truffle season, Lincoln, the opulent Italian restaurant situated within Lincoln Center, will be offering a 7-course feast on December 12. An abundance of freshly shaved white truffles will be found on delectable plates of agnolotti, egg custard with king crab and brown butter zabaglione, veal saltimbocca, and even dessert! Pairings of regional wines, Barolo and Barbaresco, will be available.

$550 pp (all-inclusive) with optional $150 wine pairing (5 glasses). Reservations and the full menu are available at lincolnristorante.com

The truffles are also available shaved tableside à la carte all month at Lincoln on tajarin and tagliatelle ($90). Lincoln Ristorante is located at 142 West 65th Street, New York, NY
