A look at Shake Shack's new Korean-Style Crispy Chicken Sandwich
January 16, 2021, 1:22.57 pm ET
Shake Shack taking the wraps off its new Korean-style menu. Sitting at the top of the list is the Korean-inspired Crispy Chickien made with a white meat, hand-breaded cutlet with no antibiotics or hormones.
The Korean-style Crispy Chicken Sandwich is coated in a special Gochujang sauce that is described as "spicy, sweet, fermented, umani" and will only be available for a limited time.
It is topped with a Kimchi, crunchy Napa cabbage and and daikon whipped up with kimchi from Choi's Kimchi Co. It's being offered with crispy fries and chicken nuggets served with a creamy gochujang sauce.
We got our first taste at Shake Shack's Innovation Kitchen in the West Village. Our crew gives it a two thumbs up! Only cons we found were some sticky fingers.
