KAWS & EFFECT: A larger than life statue by artist KAWS has popped up at Rockefeller Center. The 18-foot tall bronze statue called SHARE features two iconic figures, "COMPANION" and "BFF," and will be on display in the Center Plaza through October. The statue is being shown in conjunction with an exhibit at the Brooklyn Museum, called KAWS: WHAT PARTY.

HAPPY PROSECCO DAY: Estuary at ONE°15 Brooklyn Marina at Brooklyn Bridge Park is celebrating National Prosecco Day on August 13, 2021. Guests will receive a complementary glass of champagne with their meal. The restaurant is known for things like steak frites, lobster rolls, shrimp tacos, and chilled oysters along with killer harbor views.

TURNING UP THE HEAT: Executive Chef/Owner Ruben Rodriguez at Amigo by Nai is turning up the heat on his signature summer tacos. They include Mixto, three types of El Momo’s carnitas, pork skin, bone in pork butt, pork stomach, onions and jalapeño; Amigo, a collaboration taco with Carnitas El Momo that is made with pork belly, citrus gastrique and red salsa brava; and Rabo, Chef Rodriguez’s take on a birria taco featuring Oxtail, red mojo and shishito peppers with a side of consommé.

DINER DISH: Old John's Diner is now open for breakfast, in addition to lunch and dinner. Think diner classics like Chocolate Chip Waffles, Cinnamon Apple Pancakes, Challah French Toast and more. Hours are 7AM to 10PM (Sunday-Thursday) and 7AM to 11PM (Friday & Saturday).
