The owner of American Brass in Long Island City, Robert Briskin, is putting his money where his mouth is. He's guaranteeing the Steak Tartare on his menu is the best ever created or your money back. He's challenging meat enthusiasts to try it this month and if diners don't agree that it's unequivocally the best they've ever had, American Brass will take it off the bill.
Executive Chef Kevin McGinley, formerly of Michelin Star restaurant Bátard, serves every dish with fanatical attention to flavor and detail and collaborated with Chef de Cuisine Chris Lewnes, formerly of Augustine, on this Steak Tartare dish made with crispy sunchokes, smoked egg yolk and sourdough.
American Brass is located at 2-01 50th Avenue in Long Island City, Queens
