Around Town - Beer Garden Pops Up in Times Square, Fields Good 's New Fried Chicken Sandwich & more

Fields Good Chicken is offering its first ever fried item - the Classic Crispy Chicken Sandwich ($11). Available exclusively at the Greenwich Village outpost, the new sandwich consists of buttermilk fried chicken breast, pickles, garlic aioli, Mike's Hot Honey, & lettuce, served on an Orwashers potato roll. To celebrate the launch, FGC is running an all-day happy hour special (21+) that includes a free Sunday Beer with the purchase of the sandwich.

Celebrate the grand opening of Juicery Harlem by Chef Jappy Afzelius (TSISMIS) with live performances by celebrity DJ Sasha Hart and Jay Vallo as well as complimentary smoothie and juice samples. Monday, November 15th, 2021 from 1 pm – 2 pm and 6 pm – 7 pm at 370 Lenox Avenue in Harlem.

Family operated Casa Ora in Williamsburg has a new fall menu inspired by classic Venezuelan fare. Look for dishes like Fettuccine Asado with braised short rib, burnt papelón sauce, fettuccine alfredo, corn, bacon & peanut praline; and Arepitas, mini arepas served with a variety of fillings such as chicken salad with queso blanco and shredded beef with cheddar. Cocktails come with names like “When Smokey Sings,” and “Rum Forest Rum.”

The Beer Garden has popped up in Times Square between 43rd & 44th Street on Broadway. Aside from beer on tap, a selection of sausages are offered, including beer-braised bratwurst, spicy chorizo and hot dogs. There’s a chili dog and chili cheese dog with an assortment of toppings including sauerkraut, cucumber relish, spicy queso and more. A lobster roll and classic New York hot pastrami sandwich are also among the offerings, along with Sigmunds pretzels.
