Around Town – It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

It’s not even Halloween. The Thanksgiving Turkey hasn't been purchased. But across the city signs of the Christmas holidays are already cropping up.
The Rink is back at Rockefeller Center along with the Après Skate Chalets to follow. Tickets are already on sale with the ice skating rink to officially open on October 21st. This year, the Rockefeller Center Tree Lighting will be held on November 29th. The tree will remain lit (from 5am-12am daily) through January 13th.
Not too far away at Bryant Park, the Winter Village returns on Friday, October 27th starting at noon. The ice rink is being readied along with the holiday shopp and The Lodge Bar and Food Hall. There will also be cozy igloos, bumper cars on ice and the skate school. Tickets can be reserved here.
