Jean George’s House of the Red Pearl will be hosting The Taste of Drag brunch on Sunday, September 21 with two seatings at 12pm & 2:30pm. The includes a performance by RuPaul’s Drag Race superstar, Yuhua Hamasaki. Tickets are $35pp | Prix Fixe $55

The 2024 Fall for Arts Festival will be held September 14th from 10am to 5pm on Roosevelt Island. Each year, as summer shifts to autumn, artists and creative individuals meet outdoors to participate in an exhilarating day of painting outdoor murals. After the murals come down, several will remain on exhibit at the Island’s Motorgate Gallery.

Just in time for back to school, Cool Sips will be giving away FREE dirty sodas on September 5. Available exclusively at the Rock Center location, the first 50 guests in line will receive a free “Signature Sip” of their choice (Thurs, 9/5 at 4pm ET). NYC's award-winning Irish pub, The Dead Rabbit, is heading to London to collaborate with Ryan Chetiyawardana and the Lyaness team for London Cocktail Week. Returning to London for the first time in over seven years, and partnering with friends at Teeling Irish Whiskey, the celebratory takeover will take place on Sunday, October 6th and Monday, October 7th. £1 from every Dead Rabbit Irish Coffee sold on both days will be donated to The Felix Project, which feeds local communities in London.

Works & Process presents Opera Philadelphia and Lyric Opera of Chicago:The Listeners by Missy Mazzoli on Sunday, September 15 at 7pm at the Guggenheim’s Peter B. Lewis Theater. Prior to the American premiere at Opera Philadelphia in September 2024 and performances with Lyric Opera of Chicago in March 2025, members of the creative team will discuss their creative process, and excerpts will be performed. Tickets start at $15.

The Iridium in Times Square is hosting an exclusive, intimate event and exhibit 'Les Paul Thru the Lens' that will offer a unique glimpse into the life and career of 14-year Iridium resident Les Paul. On Monday, October 7, 2024, at 6:30 PM the iconic club will kick off the photo exhibit following its successful run at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The traveling gallery features 24 gallery-framed black-and-white photographs and web-initiated storylines that showcase the behind-the-scenes of Les Paul's life from a small child through his illustrious career. The photos will remain on display through November 18.

A number of Broadway Shows will be going dark on Tuesday, November 5th for Election Day. More than 30 shows will participate, according to Playbill. They include Hell’s Kitchen, Cabaret, Chicago, &Juliet, Back to the Future, Hamilton, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and many more. Make sure to get out to vote!
