The heat wave is on and we've got places to cool down!
Photo: dell'anima
dell'anima at Gotham West Market is chilling out with a rotating summer menu of frozen cocktails. They include the Sunkist Spritz, a riff on the classic Aperol Spritz, Frozen Negroni and a Watermelon Mojito, all of which can be enjoyed al fresco. You will also find inspired bar snacks like arancini and fried artichokes to pair with summer sips.
Photo: Fish Cheeks
Beat the heat with oysters and a cocktail at Fish Cheeks. The restaurant, known for its vibrant Thai food is offering happy hour from 12:00PM -3:45 PM and 5:00PM - 7:00 PM, with $1 oysters, $5 beer, $8 wine, and $10 cocktails so guests can pretend they're on the beaches of Thailand (instead of the sweaty streets of NYC).
Photo: Williamsburg Hotel
Everybody in the pool! The Rooftop + Pool at The Williamsburg Hotel is serving up cocktails poolside with views of the Manhattan skyline. Drinks include the Coco Frosé (rose wine, Singani 63, Bacardi Coconut, and lime). Day passes are available in case you want to take a dip as the mercury hits 100 degrees.
And then it's the Battle of the Burgers...
Photo: Gato
Bobby Flay’s Gato is introducing what it calls the “ultimate” brunch burger. The Gato Burger now debuting is topped with aged fontina, crispy prosciutto, piquillo aioli, and pickled shallot and it is only available for brunch.
Photo: HALL
Elsewhere, HALL's signature burger made with U.S. Wagyu beef is a cut above served with American cheese, diced purple onion and special sansho pepper sauce. Wash it down with some sparkling Yuzu Lemonade or Ice Tea.
Photo: Porter House
And Porter House Bar and Grill is offering Michael Lomonaco’s signature Aged Prime Beef Burger, a classic steakhouse burger made with a special Pat LaFrieda Blend and served simply with lettuce, tomato and French fries, or, get the Double Stacked Cheeseburger paired with a classic Manhattan.
How's that for dealing with the lazy days of summer!
