Bartering for pizza in New York City
February 24, 2021, 7:37.02 pm ET
Rome native Gabriele Lamonaca came to New York in 2008 to study chemistry, but today finds himself making pizzas out of his Harlem apartment. But there's a hitch. According to the New York Post, which broke the story, Lamonaco only offers 3 to 4 pizzas per week with a crust that leavens for 96 hours. But to get one, you'll need to barter for it via his Instagram page [unregularpizza] with one of your favorite dishes or a bottle of wine. Lamonaca reportedly plans to open his own restaurant this spring.
