CITY CENTER’S STUDIO 5 SERIES RETURNS

City Center’s popular Studio 5 series returns on Tuesday, May 18 with five new digital episodes featuring exceptional dance artists from around the world. In this series, entitled “Dancing Across Continents,” viewers can explore the artistic process of a diversity of styles from Argentine tango and ballet to the classical Indian dance of Odissi. This intimate series of conversations and coaching sessions has been curated by noted dance critic and historian Alastair Macaulay.
Performers and choreographers include Calvin Royal III, Ib Andersen, Sooraj Subramaniam, Matthew Ball, Wayne McGregor, Karen & Kei and members of the Alvin American Dance Theater.
