Celebration for Philip Glass on His 85th Birthday at Rockefeller Center

Rockefeller Center and Pomegranate Arts will celebrate the 85th birthday of legendary American composer and pianist Philip Glass with a night of music and festivities on The Rink. The celebration will be held on Monday January 31 from 7:00PM-8:30PM with multimedia artist and creative pioneer Laurie Anderson hosting the party to celebrate her dear friend with ice skating, cupcakes, music and performances. An afterparty, DJed by Laurie Anderson, will follow the celebration.
New Yorkers can purchase tickets for one or both events (availability permitting) to celebrate one of New York City’s greatest icons in one of its most iconic settings. This skate-season also marks the 85th birthday of The Rink at Rockefeller Center. Limited tickets for each event are available for $35 to $45 + tax at RockefellerCenter.com and includes skate equipment.
