Chef Eric Ripert welcomes guests back to Le Bernardin

Le Bernardin, the stylish French restaurant in Midtown, has reopened after a brief hiatus due to the pandemic. The restaurant, led by Chef Eric Ripart, is known for its mastery of seafood and sauces.
The reopening menu includes dishes like Striped Bass Truffled Tartare with Périgord vinaigrette, Grilled Lobster “Mi-Cuit” with charred scallions and sea urchin sauce Américaine; Barely Cooked Faroe Islands Salmon with a morel-snow pea “Pot-au-Feu;” and Warm Peekytoe Crab with yuzu rice, Persian cucumber and green tea-nori consommé.
Desserts by pastry chef Thomas Raquel include Blackberry-Rhubarb Compote with yogurt sorbet and hibiscus tuile, as well Apple Brown Butter Mousse with armagnac sabayon
Guests can choose from a Prix Fixe menu ($180/person) and Chef’s Tasting Menu ($215/person, $365/person with wine pairing by wine director Aldo Sohm). Le Bernadin is open for dinner Monday-Saturday from 5pm to 11pm.
Through the end of the year, the restaurant will donate $5.00 for every guest to City Harvest in partnership with World Central Kitchen. Each donation will help feed 13 New Yorkers for a day. Reservations via Resy.
