Chef Laurent Tourondel in a One-Night-Only Food and Wine Event

Acclaimed chef Laurent Tourondel is pairing up with Baricci winemaker Francesco Buffi to create a one-night-only event with unique food and wine pairings. Both food & beverage powerhouses will be in attendance and menu highlights include summer flavors such as Chicken Liver Crostino with dried cherry mostarda, Bistecca alla Fiorentina with Tuscan kale + pancetta, eggplant + smoked tomato as well as Pignoli Torta della Nonna with poached peaches and plums paired with a 2021 Rosso, a 2018 Brunello, and a 2016 Riserva from Baricci. All of the wine pairings have been made by Beverage Director, Jason Hedges, who leads the program at L’Amico which has won the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence for the last 5 years.

WHAT: A five-course tasting menu featuring Baricci Brunello di Montalcino by Chef Tourondel, known for his extensive culinary career, working alongside some of the world’s greatest chefs. His restaurant portfolio has varied greatly, focusing on capturing the nuances and subtleties of each specific cuisine. Rather than picking wines that pair with a menu, Chef Tourondel has created menu items that pair perfectly with specific wines that are picked by his Beverage Director, Jason Hedges. Each menu ranges in courses, ingredients, and overall style.
