Chica & The Don Introduces Streetside Empanada Cart

Chica & The Don, the modern, Latin American cocktail lounge and restaurant located in Flatiron, is debuting a streetside empanada cart and patio seating. Open from 5 PM - 10 PM, Tuesday through Saturday, the team will be serving housemade empanadas such as the Birria Empanada stuffed with short rib and a smoky dipping sauce, and the Langosta y Camaron Empanada with lobster, shrimp, jalapeno, and aged gouda.

Additionally, the team has launched new late-summer menu items, including: Alitas de Pollo, chicken wings served with a mango habanero sauce and sofrito tzatziki; Tuna Taco with slices of Yellowfin Tuna marinated in a yuzu and ponzu sauce and topped with an avocado crema; Aguachile Watermelon Salad with juicy watermelon, cucumber slices, roasted corn, and house-made salsa.

New summer cocktails from beverage director Elvis Rosario include the Frozen Guava Helada with peach and fresh basil syrup and The Chelada with clamato, lime, tabasco and topped with Presidente.
