Cocktail Time: It’s the Kickoff of Negroni Week in NYC

Negroni Week (September 16th - September 22nd) will be in full swing here in New York. The classic three-ingredient cocktail will be celebrated throughout the city with events and special Negroni menus from everyone’s favorite bars and brands. Here are some places to celebrate!

Lincoln Ristorante, the stylish spot at Lincoln Center, is known for its specialty negronis like the Blond Negroni made with New Amsterdam gin, Scarpa Bianco Vermouth, Littet Blanc, and Breckenridge Bitters; Scotch Negroni with Glenlivet 12yr, Campari and 1757 Vermouth; and the traditional Negroni with Carpano Antica Formula, Campari and The Botanist Gin slay 22.

In Midtown, Valerie will be offering a special Negroni week menu, complete with 8 unique Negroni riffs - whether that be a strawberries and cream Negroni or a Negroni made with mezcal, there is truly something for everyone. There will also be a special Negroni that has been barrelled for a year - originally during Negroni Week 2023. Valerie’s Beverage Director Marshall Minaya along with No.3 Gin barreled the Negroni together in two American oak barrels. While they will be serving the Negroni all week, they will also be hosting an exclusive event on September 17th to honor it from 6 - 9PM.

Lulla , a modern Italian eatery at 113 West 24th St, is offering the Strawberry Cardinale that is sure to be a hit. It is made with Patron Silver Tequila, Strawberry, Balsamic, Martini & Rossi Rosso and Honey Bush. This playful twist on the classic Negroni is a perfect way to celebrate the week from September 16-22.

Dante has what it calls the Negroni Sessions featuring different variations of the classic cocktail. There is the Chocolate Negroni with Botanist Gin, Campari, Punt e Mes, Creme de Cacao, and chocolate bitters; Negroni Bianco with Brooklyn Gin, Quinquina, Alessio Bianco, Carpano Dry, lemon bitters and verjus; and The Unlikely Negroni with Altos Tequila, Campari, Cocchi Torino, Kalani, pineapple vinegar and banana. The also Negroni on tap.

On the Upper East Side, Bemelmans Bar is bringing together mixology royalty Dale DeGroff and Jillian Vose for an exclusive cocktail event in collaboration with Badger Bevs, celebrating a twist on the classic as these innovative masters craft the ultimate Negroni. The event will have live music as well, creating the perfect ambiance for your afternoon Negroni on September 16th and 17th from 2 - 5 PM.

And who can pass up a stop at Bar Pisellino, the Italian bar from acclaimed chefs Rita Sodi and Jody Williams known for its signature cocktails, bites, espresso and bomboloni. They are also negronis in three variations – Classico, Terra and Bianco.
