Dante opens in the West Village
June 30, 2020, 1:33.34 am ET
Everything old is new again at Dante. The original on Macdougal Street dates back to 1915, but the new location at 550 Hudson Street (at Perry St) is just as precious with its meticulous old-school design. The food and drink, on the other hand, offer a touch of modern flare. From a signature burger with three cuts of beef and smoked bacon, to roasted branzino with rosemary potatoes, and fire-roasted chicken alla diavolo served with three house sauces, there's something for everyone. Drinks include assorted spritzes, "Martini Hour," and cocktails like the "Fluffy Margarita" made with arette, fluffy bergamot, salted orange blossom honey and Hawaiian black lava salt. - TR
