SERRA by Birreria, the rooftop destination at Eataly Flatiron, has transformed itself into a winter wonderland with décor inspired by the Italian countryside, including twinkling lanterns and festive greenery that further brighten up the spacious room.
Executive Chef Michael Nogera’s updated menu features cozy dishes like Taleggio DOP topped with earthy Urbani black truffle, Fonduta Valdostana, a rustic fondue paired with sausage from bread, carrots, roasted potato and Raven and Boar Farm sausage, a delicious prosciutto-filled ravioli, and mouth-filling lamb shank with polenta.
The beverage menu features vin brulé, or mulled wine that comes in four different crafted versions along with three new versions using white, rosé, and orange wine. In addition, the restaurant has created housemade vermouth out of the mulled beverage that add life to a new selection of cocktails. Guests can also sip eggnog made with whey from White Moustache, a Brooklyn based producer of Persian-style yogurt.
