Former Angel’s Share Bartender Draws a Crowd for Debut of Cocktail Bar

Takuma Watanabe, a former head bartender at Angel’s Share, drew a long line of fans looking to catch a glimpse of his new upscale Japanese cocktail bar, called Martiny’s located, inside a lovingly restored Gramercy townhouse.
Watanabe is known for creating groundbreaking cocktails at Angel’s Share which was hidden behind an East Village yakitori restaurant before closing recently.
Martiny’s is located at 121 East 17th St (nr Union Square), New York, NY
