Getting ready to ring in the New Year from Times Square

2021 has arrived in Times Square ahead of the ball drop. The New Year can't come quick enough for some as we continue to deal with pandemic. And while the crowds won't be in Times Square this year, the party will continue on television and online with live music and personalities leading up to the big event.

New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest will feature award winning actress Lucy Hale, multi-platinum artist Ciara and award-winning Broadway actor Billy Porter. The show kicks off at 8pm ET.

Mariah Carey makes a virtual appearance for some lucky New Yorkers who will view the ball drop from a perch atop the Nasdaq building in their own personal igloo courtesy of Airbnb.

Fox is ditching Steve Harvey for its New Year's Eve Toast and Roast. Instead, Ken Jeong and Joel McHale who will lead the countdown to 2021. Performances include LeeAnn Rimes, the newly crowned winner of the Masked Singer, Gloria Estafan and a special tribute to health care workers from Doctor Elvis.

NBC's New Year's Eve show kicks off at 10pm ET (with a half-hour news break at 11pm). Carson Daly returns as host. Personalities and performances include Keith Urban, X Ambassadors, Brett Eldredge, Julianne Hough, Ne-Yo, Leslie Odom Jr., Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and The Struts

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen will ring in the New Year together on CNN starting at 8pm ET. Look for appearances by John Mayer, Snoop Dogg, Patti Labelle, Jimmy Buffett, Josh Groban, Goo Goo Dolls, Jon Bon Jovi, and more.
