Located on the southeast corner of First Ave and Thirteenth Street, The Onion Tree Pizza Co. fits right in with the East Village's unconventional style with pizza and an Indian twist.
The Onion Tree Pizza Co. offers three different styles of pizza: Neo-New York and Romana [both available by the slice or pie] and Napoletana. Pizzas are personalized with the guests' choice of traditional Italian toppings as well as curry toppings and finished with Tadka, their signature spiced finishing oil. Visitors will also find Indian wings, kebabs and curry bowls.
The Onion Tree Pizza Co., which also operates in a restaurant in Greenwich Village and six on Long Island, is the creation of Chef Jay Jadeja who was born and raised in Gujarat, India and his wife Raquel, a native New Yorker.
