5 Acres restaurant and bar from chef Greg Baxtrom is re-launching with a totally new menu and design.

The new lunch and dinner menus celebrate American classics, and feature Baxtrom’s unique take on nostalgic dishes. 5 Acres – enclosed by a layer of lush, vibrant greenery that nods to his family’s farm outside of Chicago – also launches a new weekday happy hour (4pm - 6pmat the bar), and breakfast items that range from grab-and-go to diner specialities.

New menu highlights include:

Shrimp Cocktail

BLT Flatbread
with bacon heirloom tomato, frisee and ranch Spinach Artichoke Dip served with black pepper crackers Turkey

Club
with in-house roasted turkey, bacon, gem lettuce, heirloom tomato, avocado, herb aioli Shrimp Scampi with saffron couscous, piquillo peppers, niçoise olives

Wisconsin Cheddar Burger
with Nueske's bacon, BBQ sauce, bread & butter pickles, shoestring fries Baked Rigatoni with vodka tomato sauce, calabrian chili and ricotta

Mac & Cheese
made with three-cheese blend, garlic breadcrumbs Chocolate Chip Cookie A La Mode

Later this fall, Five Acres will debut a new interior design and additional menu items.
