Di Fara Pizza, the beloved Brooklyn pizzeria founded by the late Domenico “Don” Di Fara, now has a location on South Street in the Seaport District just steps away from Pier 17.
The space boasts indoor and outdoor seating and offers several specialty pies at any given time. Regular slices start at $5 ($6 for squares) with extra fees for add-ons like sausage and pepperoni. Specialty toppings include meatballs, prosciutto, porcini mushrooms, broccoli rabe and artichokes; among others.
The pizza is well made with a nice crispy crust and fresh ingredients. But is it a true Di Fara slice where simplicity (and hand-grated parmesan) was key? We’ll let you be the judge.
Di Fara Pizza is located at 108 South St, New York, NY (917) 388-3130
