Kimika Offers Special Lunar New Year Celebration Meal

Kimika (40 Kenmare St), the Japanese-Italian fusion restaurant in NoLiTa, is offering specials for Lunar New Year from January 31st through February 6th.
The menu includes dishes like Persimmons with Iberico pancetta, candied walnuts and korozu; Golden Sesame Mochi with unagi, foie gras and ginger-scallion salsa; New Year’s Tortellini Ozoni with shrimp & prosciutto tortellini, mochi, naruto, scallions and kanto brodo; Longevity Noodles with dungeness crab, yellow chives, garlic, crab miso, and citrus; and Prosperity Mochi Bomboloncini with red bean, coconut-peanut-chicken skin and black sesame.
Also, starting February 1st, Kimika is transforming its enclosed outdoor patio into a Shabu Shabu dining experience. The Kimika X House of Japanese Wagyu package costs $150 per person. It includes an all-beef shabu with a mixture of A5 Japanese wagyu beef, prime dry aged beef and American washugyu beef. A vegan shabu shabu is also available.
