L’Artusi, which recently opened b’artusi, is adding a neighborhood café and sandwich shop to its repertoire in the West Village. Via Porta, which is open for breakfast and lunch, is offering an all-day take-away menu of Italian-inspired sandwiches and salads prepared by L’Artusi’s long-time executive chef Joe Vigorito, and house made sweet and savory pastries from pastry chef Janée Humphreys. Visitors can also purchase pasta sauces, fresh cheeses, Italian-imported olive oils, and more.
