Not many NYC restaurants make it to 20 years, but Loreley Beer Garden on the LES has not only survived, but thrived. One of NYC’s pioneering beer gardens and still the largest outdoor heated beer garden on the LES, Loreley opened in 2003 and is still going strong after two decades.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary, Loreley owner Doug Jacobson has partnered with Brooklyn’s KCBC for an anniversary limited run Loreley Kölsch beer available only this month. Kölsch style beer – bright, light and refreshing – originated in Cologne (Köln), Germany and is a signature beer for Loreley, which is modeled after the brauhauses (brewhouses) of Cologne and has served Kölsch since opening. There will also be One Pound Mega Pretzels to celebrate the thousands and thousands of pretzels that they’ve served throughout the years - best enjoyed with the signature Beer, Bacon & Cheese Dip, made with Radeberger beer, cheddar, gouda, bacon, onions and jalapeno.

Coinciding with the anniversary, Loreley is also hosting their annual Craft Cider Festival until November 23rd. Guests can enjoy 10 different kinds of cider plus cider cocktails like Apple Cider Martinis, Pumpkin Sangria, Bourbon Hot Cider and other hot drinks like their famous Gluhwein (German mulled wine). The festival is free admission with daily happy hours.
