The Lincoln Square Business Improvement District (BID) is offering a new interactive display, Magical Lights, which will be unveiled at 4:30pm in Dante Park (Broadway & West 64th Street) on Tuesday, December 5 and will be on display through the end of January.

It will feature eight giant London Plane trees dripping with hundreds of strands of hanging light vines that react to the public by twinkling to the rhythm of Lincoln Square’s beat and NYC’s soundscape.

The opening ceremony will include appearances by The Department of Spectacle, featuring classic circus arts including a stilt walker, jugglers, and the hilarious Princess Schneeflocken; the Kaufman Music Center's Special Music School Chorus; and CHIA's Dance Party led by Martin Vejarano’s Brass Quintet.

In addition, the Lincoln Square BID has curated a rotating line-up of performances of Magical Lights, including The Fabulous Fezziwigs, The Broadway Carolers, and Vocal SouL, an a cappella group who will offer soulful interpretations of holiday favorites.
