Master Juggler Jay Gilligan to Bring Reflex to MITU

Hideaway Circus will present the world premiere of “REFLEX: 4000 Years of Juggling,” a new solo show from the mind of master juggler and visual artist Jay Gilligan, from January 28 to February 20 at MITU580 (580 Sackett Street). This unique theatrical experience interweaves stunning juggling sequences with stories about gravity and the secrets of an ancient craft.
An internationally awarded performer, Gilligan has been featured on “America’s Got Talent,” and has performed in 38 countries. A world record holder, he has collaborated with such companies as Spiegelworld, The Gandini Juggling Project, Cie Jérôme Thomas, Les 7 doigts de la main, Cirkus Cirkör, and Cirque du Soleil. He is also the former head teacher of juggling at the Dans och Cirkushögskolan in Stockholm.
In addition to live performances, the show will offer a digital livestream from February 14-20.
