NATALIE MENDOZA TO STAR IN BROADWAY’S MOULIN ROUGE

Film, stage and screen star Natalie Mendoza will play the role of Satine in the Broadway production of “Moulin Rouge! The Musical,” which resumes performances at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre on September 24. She replaces Karen Olivo, who has departed the production.
The show, directed by Alex Timbers and featuring a book by John Logan and a score of pop favorites, tells the story of a glamorous if dying Parisian nightclub performer who must choose between the affections of a poor poet and a rich aristocrat. It has been nominated for 14 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The cast also features Aaron Tveit as Christian, Danny Burstein as Harold Zidler, Sahr Ngaujah as Toulouse-Lautrec, Tam Mutu as The Duke of Monroth, Ricky Rojas as Santiago and Robyn Hurder as Nini.
