Beard Papa’s, which originated in Osaka Japan in 1999, now has more than 400 locations worldwide offering flaky cream puffs filled with a mix of whipped cream and custard. The result is a delicious bite that is not overly sweet. The shells come in flavors like Chocolate Eclair, Ube, Honey Butter, Oreo Cookie Crumble, and S’mores, among others. Fillings include vanilla, green tea and chocolate. Beard Papa’s latest location in New York City is at 11 St Marks place on the second floor. It is worth a visit.
