NYC Bites - Brent's Comfort Kitchen for classic sandwiches
June 3, 2021, 12:18.02 am ET
Brent Romanow has opened Brent’s Comfort Kitchen in Midtown East. The restaurant, which operates from a window, is offering classic deli sandwiches for takeout and delivery only. Think overstuffed Reuben sandwiches served with half & full sour pickles and a bag of Brent’s kettle chips, or house-smoke pastrami piled high on rye with choice of dressing, including deli mustard, honey mustard and horseradish cream.
There’s also house-made roast beef and roast turkey and a French Dip with hot roast beef, swiss, cherry peppers on a sesame hoagie with au jus for dipping. You can also make your sandwiches a triple-decker by adding bacon, lettuce and tomato. Other offerings include footlong hot dogs, potato knishes and noodle kugel with apples and dried cherries.

All of sandwiches are packaged in a way to ensure freshness upon arrival. Ours survived a 40 minute train ride to Brooklyn, intact and delicious. We also got a taste of that wonderful kugel for free. Brent’s Comfort Kitchen is definitely worth sinking your teeth into!
Brent’s Comfort Kitchen is located at 304 East 49th St, New York, NY
