If you blink, you might miss Me Chicken Rice, but you’d be missing out on some big flavors. This tiny spot on West 3rd Street is serving up Thai street foods. The signature dish is steamed boneless chicken over a large helping of ginger rice with slow-cooked chicken liver and gizzards. It’s served with a few cucumber slices and chili ginger sauce. You can also get it with fried or roasted chicken, as well as a crispy chicken salad bowl. Each meal comes with daikon chicken soup. Thai-style drinks are also offered including Thai Iced Tea and Thai Iced Coffee. Look for the chicken with a cleaver in the window.
Me Chicken Rice is located at 120 West 3rd St, New York, NY (646) 455-0877
