NYC Restaurants are diving into peach season…

Veselka is offering a new summer peach salad with dried cherries.

Chambers has a Peach & Pluot Clafoutis on the menu served with almond ice cream and peach compote.

Other bites worth seeking out…

Potato Gnocchi in a briny lobster sauce is available at Vestry topped with a light-as-air parmesan foam.

New to the menu at Le Crocodile in Brooklyn is Agnolotti with chanterelles and favas. The dish uses mushroom stems and scraps from the Burgundy braise for its duck in a bid to cut down on waste.

Cocktails worth seeking out…

The Ruby Red Spritz at Loreto with London Dry Gin, prosecco, grapefruit soda and grapefruit bitters.

Naro is offering a new cocktail from its sister restaurant, Atomix, called Sesame Symphony with Sesame-Washed Lapostolle, pisco, Nimome tangerine yakju, Eldorado 12, Rhum J.M. and fino sherry.

Looking ahead…

Skratch Bastid will be spinning hip-hop tunes August 20 at the Seaport for his annual BBQ Block Party. Along with the tunes, Cheekys Sandwich Shop will be serving up po’ boys and Big Easy Bites; Blrooklyn based Schmackwich will be serving up Wagyu Chops. Kicks off at 2pm. More info here
