Signage is Lobel’s, a new restaurant and bar, in the concourse at Rockefeller Center. Lobel’s, which got its start as a butcher shop in 1840, specializes in prime meats. It currently operates concessions in Yankee Stadium, selling steak sandwiches and steak-topped fries.

After a sold-out performance at Dominique Ansel Workshop in Flatiron, the Bone-In Short Rib en Croûte with bone marrow gravy will show up next at the bar at Hawksmoor from Feb 7-14. You basically remove the bone and treat it like a French dip.

Fulgurances Laudromat will be hosting a Dirty Dirty Valentine on Feb 13 and 14. The event will feature a fun, extended tasting menu for singles, share a 2 top, or to double or triple date. $125 per person.

Daddy O’s BBQ is set to debut in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn at 9226 4th Avenue. The restaurant and sports bar, which also operates on Staten Island, is known for its St Louis Ribs, Pulled Pork, Brisket, Bourbon Chicken and more.

Hometown BBQ will be hosting A Tasting Dinner at its Red Hook location on Feb 7 from 6:30pm to 9pm. The $150 pp dinner begins with a Widow Jane welcome cocktail with brisket queso and chips followed by all sorts of meats and banana pudding dessert. Guests can also get a taste of 5 distinct WJ whiskies.

Diner 24, the new 24-hour diner in Gramercy from the folks behind Brooklyn Dumpling Shop, will be hosting an Open Casting Call for front-of-house and back-of-house positions on Monday Feb 5 from noon to 2pm at 283 3rd Ave, NYC.
