Delicious Hospitality Group, the team behind Charlie Bird, Pasquale Jones, Legacy Records and Bar Pasquale, has opened Midnight Plus One in Nolita.
The underground cocktail lounge and live music venue at 98 Kenmare Street is located beneath the dining room at Bar Pasquale. The lounge is offering an array of innovative cocktails developed by Beverage Director Theo Lieberman (formerly of Milk & Honey and Eleven Madison Park).
The cocktail menu features more than a dozen selections, incorporating and highlighting Italian liqueurs, vermouths, apéritifs and bitters, with recipes based on the original, first ever published Italian cocktail book “1,000 Mixtures” by Elvio Grassi. Additional reimagined classic Shaken or Stirred cocktails are also featured.
There is a light menu featuring a selection of seafood-centric dishes such as fresh crudo, caviar, grilled octopus, uni toast, amberjack arancini and Chef Ryan Hardy’s signature fried chicken with Calabrian chile honey, designed to complement the beverage program.
Midnight Plus One is open Wednesday-Saturday nights beginning at 7pm and hosts various programming weekly on Thursdays-Saturdays, from live music sessions to DJ sets, and more. For updated on music bookings, visit them on Instagram.
