Open Streets is back. Throughout the city. This year, the NYC Department of Transportation says there are 160 locations, or about 300 blocks, with either full of limited closures (5 mph or under), with 25 newcomers. Full Closures allow for a range of car-free activities that support local businesses and neighborhoods, including outdoor dining, and community programming. Drivers might want to use an interactive map to find out what streets to avoid. For the complete list of 2023 Open Streets click here.
