Nomad Girl is making its presence known. The all-day café and ristorante is bringing the flavors of Milan to the heart of Nomad, surrounded by posh hotels and luxurious hot spots.

The restaurant is the brainchild of hospitality veterans Alex Cesaria and Rich Simeone. Cesaria was born in Milan before traveling the globe and landing in New York City several years ago where opened Il Piccolo Ristoro in Chelsea before closing during the pandemic.

Nomad Girl focuses on unfussy Italian cuisine fueled by high quality organic ingredients created in collaboration with Chef Fernando Baez, formerly of Bottega del Vino. Breakfast begins with croissant and beignets, Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon, Eggs Benedict, Pancakes, and more. All are served with small-batch Dell’Aria Coffee.

Italian sandwiches, salads and pastas are available for lunch. The signature sandwich is the Piadina served on rustic flatbread from Italy with eggplant, avocado, corn, tomato, and mixed greens. Pastas include Tagliatelle Bolognese prepared with veal and beef, and Ravioli house-made stuffed with Spinach and Ricotta.

Dinner begins with antipasto such as perfectly marbled 24-month aged Prosciutto di Parma served with Buffalo mozzarella. Larger plates include Sesame Crusted Tuna, Grilled Organic Salmon, Prime Organic Skirt Steak and seasonal specialties such as Branzino sautéed in a lemon butter sauce.

As night falls, Nomad Girl the soft music becomes livelier as the Negronis and vino flows with the dimly lit steel bar setting the tone for a special night out. Brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays.

NoMad Girl is located at 1151 Broadway, New York, NY (212) 419-8299. For more information, visit nomadgirl.nyc
