When OSTUDIO opened in Bed-Stuy in 2019, the shared space for makers and creatives was set to open a daytime café and, come spring of 2020, a natural wine bar hosting chef residencies. Finally, OCAFE and OSTUDIO at Night are now open, bringing a new spirit of craft and collaboration to Brooklyn.

From 9 am to 4 pm, the front room of the colorful space, designed by owner Fernando Aciar, is serving bright, Latin-inspired food and beverages loved by regulars of OCAFE, the West Village staple that Aciar opened in 2011. From Monday to Saturday from 5 pm until 10:30 pm the seating extends behind the bar for OSTUDIO at Night. Here you will find apéro dishes like cured anchovies with seeded romesco, piadina with mortadella and aioli, steak tartare, and salads and pickled veggies using housemade vinegar. It is also featuring foods from monthly chefs-in-residence who share OSTUDIO’s creative spirit, as well as pop-ups from bakers, sommeliers, bartenders and food lovers from around the world.

The opening resident will be Colombian chef Giuseppe Lacorazza (May 5-30) who runs Fugaz restaurant in Mexico City. Pop-ups include Nana Wilmot (May 13; 2 seatings), Bad Habit ice cream (June), Lana Lagomarsini and a Juneteenth block party (June 19), with more to follow.

OSTUDIO is located at 366 Stockton St #1C, Brooklyn, NY
