Orange Glou to Host 3rd Anniversary Party on LES
June 24, 2024, 5:59.38 pm ET
LES orange wine mecca Orange Glou (264 Broome St.) is throwing a free party for its 3rd birthday on Saturday, June 29 from 3pm-8pm! This unique natural wine store – the world's first and only store dedicated to orange wines — will be pouring free tastings of more than a dozen wines paired with fun and unexpected snacks. The anniversary party kicks off a summer of chef pop-ups and events, including a special collab with SuperVinoBros .
The party is hosted by Orange Glou founder Doreen Winkler, natural wine sommelier and the premier orange (aka skin-contact) wine expert, who will be pairing everyone's favorite snacks with a range of orange wines from around the world — like Cheetos with Fabien Jouves “Skin Contact Maceration,” an aromatic biodynamic wine from the South of France, and wasabi peas with a rare Portuguese pet-nat Bojo Do Luar “Azal” that’s also macerated on the skins, and many more.
Guests can snag prizes — including t-shirts, glasses, totes, wine openers and candy — with every purchase of at least $35.
