The record-breaking Broadway musical “Chicago,” will welcome actress and activist Pamela Anderson in the role of Roxie Hart from Tuesday, April 12, through June 5.
Anderson, who is making her Broadway debut, is known for her television roles on “Home Improvement.” “Baywatch,” and “V.I.P.” She is currently the subject of the Hulu docudrama “Pam & Tommy,” about her marriage to rock star Tommy Lee.
With a book by Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse, music by John Kander and lyrics by Fred Ebb, “Chicago” recently celebrated its 25th anniversary on Broadway. The production, which won six 1997 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival, is directed by Tony Award winner Walter Bobbie and choreographed by the late Ann Reinking.
