Pianist Kristopher Hull to Play at The 550 Garden

The Olayan Group has partnered with Kristopher Hull to bring classical music out of the concert hall and into The 550 Garden (550 Madison Avenue), the largest green space to be built in East Midtown in decades. As part of the artist residency, the Garden will host live performances by Hull on Tuesdays and Thursdays in a limited engagement.

Hull is a cultural fixture in New York City. This self-taught classical pianist is known for pushing his custom-mounted 1964 Baldwin Upright Piano around lower Manhattan, bringing a repertoire of Chopin études, preludes and nocturnes into the Garden for the enjoyment of all New Yorkers.

The reawakened urban space, which is open year-round, features a heated hearth seating area, and embraces nature as an amenity for building tenants, area residents and visitors.
