The Standard Biergarten (848 Washington St) is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day the old-fashioned way. Think green beer, shamrock shots, and pinch me I’m Irish apparel. The day long Patrick’s Day bash will be featuring Green Draft Beer (Standard Brauhaus) $12/$18; Irish Coffee (Iced or Hot) $11 topped with green whipped cream, shamrock mint drizzle, and peppermint sprinkle with choice of Roe & Co. and/or Bailey's Irish Cream; a Guinness Can BoilerMaker for $14 with your choice of Irish Whiskey, Bailey's, or Both; Green Tea Ski Shots for $30.

At Five & Dime (8 Park Place, NYC) Starting March 5th until St. Patrick’s Day, treat yourself with an Irish Coffee at this all-day coffee shop which will have a special menu featuring Glendalough Irish Whiskey and Irish Gin cocktails.

Starting March 11th through St. Patrick’s Day, Banc Café (431 Third Ave, NYC) is serving up Irish whiskey and gin cocktails along with classic Irish fare all week long. The real party begins Thursday night with live music starting at 9pm until midnight. This Murray Hill mainstay will continue the festivities on Saturday after the St. Patrick’s Day Parade with live music kicking off at 4pm.

If you can’t make it across the pond to the Emerald Isle, visit the Emerald Bar at The Ivory Peacock (38 W 26th St, NYC) starting March 12th for bespoke Irish whiskey and Irish Gin cocktails (especially if whiskey isn’t your tipple of choice).

If you’d rather stick around in Brooklyn, visit the local neighborhood bar Seaborne (228 Van Brunt St, Red Hook) starting March 7th where they’ll introduce their St. Paddy’s Day menu for the next ten days. On the 17th the bar will open early at noon to welcome guests with its Irish fare food menu.

Time Out Market New York in DUMBO is throwing a St. Patrick’s Day bash filled with live entertainment, drink specials, lots of eats and plenty of Irish cheer. The party kicks off at 2pm on March 17 with with DJ DWAI and a performance from Brooklyn Irish Dance Company, the acclaimed women-owned and led dance group. Guests can register via Eventbrite using the “DWAI Promo” for special deals.

Creamline, in partnership with Ronnybrook Farm, and Economy Candy are offering a Saint Patrick’s Day Mint Milkshake with vanilla ice cream and Junior Mints topped with green whipped cream and a chocolate coin. The specialty shake will be offered at Creamline's Chelsea Market Location from Friday, March 8th, through Monday, March 18th, to celebrate the holiday.
