Purslane Cafe Opens at the Prospect Park Boathouse

The Purslane Café has arrived at the iconic Prospect Park Boathouse Terrace. The Prospect Park Alliance announcing that the new café will be operated by The Oberon Group which runs sustainable restaurants such as Rucola, June, Rhodora, Clara, and Anaïs. The menu features healthy food options, including a Daily Frittata, Fig & Prosciutto sandwich and Jerk Chicken sandwich. From the bakery comes seasonal cakes, scones, muffins and cookies, among others. The Purslane Café is also offering cocktails, wine and beer on select evenings. The Beaux Arts style building overlooks the Lullwater Bridge and can be accessed in the eastern part of the park near Lincoln Road
