Red Feather, a new Southeast Asian-American restaurant, has arrived in Greenwich Village (82 West 3rd Street) just steps from Washington Square Park. Chef Pia Gervacio (Public SoHo, Rouge Tomate Chelsea) is combining his Philippines upbringing and classic French techniques to create a tempting menu.

The Crispy Pork in Coconut Milk (anchovy, green-finger chilies, served with rice) and Seared Branzino a la Plancha (lime, orange, citrus-herb sauce) are two dishes close to Chef Gervacio’s heart. Visitors will also Bulgogi Ribeye with gochujang butter, and Soy Caramel Wings. Appetizers include Garlic Milk Bread (chives, mozzarella) and Sa-te Black Mushroom & Tofu (lemongrass, jalapeño, peanuts), both perfect for sharing.

Red Feather is open from 5pm - 9pm daily except Tuesdays. While they’re only accepting walk-ins to start, reservations will eventually be offered via OpenTable.
