Lupetto is taking shape in the Flatiron District. The restaurant is from team behind La Pecora Bianca. Lupetto means “little wolf” in Italian. Chefs Michael Berardino (dell'anima, Rubirosa) and Matt Spivey (Maialino) will reportedly lead the kitchen focusing on wood-fired Neapolitan pizzas as well as meat and fish from a wood grill, along with assorted pastas.
