Restaurant Radar: Roberta's Pizza Set to Open Massive New Restaurant Near Madison Square Garden

Roberta’s is coming to Midtown. Signage is up for a new Roberta’s pizza restaurant located across the street from Madison Square Garden in the up-and-coming Penn District. The restaurant, located at 1 Pennsylvania Plaza, near 35th Street, can found adjacent to a new Los Tacos No. 1. Also opening in the shared space will be an Anita gelato.
Roberta’s, which already operates full-service locations in Bushwick and Domino Park where it is known for its assorted pizzas like its Famous Original (tomato, mozzarella, parmigiano, caciocavallo, oregano, chili), Bee Sting (tomato, mozzarella, soppressata, basil, chili, honey), and Porchettaboutit (porchetta, taleggio, red onion, garlic, basil, fennel seed, olive oil, lemon), along with pastas, and grilled items like Figs & Prosciutto and Dry Aged Flannery Steak. The opening is expected this spring. Stay tuned!
